Bookbinding: Coptic Binding Book

Make your own hand-stitched Coptic bound book in this creative afternoon session.

Description

In this three-hour workshop, you’ll discover the beautiful and ancient technique of Coptic bookbinding, known for its exposed stitching and books that lay perfectly flat. You’ll assemble your pages, prepare your covers, and hand-stitch your book using durable thread and traditional methods. This is a wonderfully mindful craft, perfect for anyone who loves stationery, sketchbooks, journals, or simply learning new skills. No experience needed — I’ll guide you through the process in an encouraging, friendly space. Tea/coffee and light refreshments included. All materials provided.
